The Borgward Hansa 1500 is a medium sized saloon that was manufactured by the Bremen based auto-manufacturer Carl F. W. Borgward GmbH. The strikingly modern car was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1949. Production cars first rolled off the line on October 13 1949. The Hansa was replaced by the Borgward Isabella in 1954.

Cars were equipped with range of engines of 1498 – 1758 cc (91.1 – 107.2 cui) displacement, delivering 31 – 44 kW (42 – 60 PS, 42 – 59 hp) of power.
